나의 작품은 빛을 상실한 고전의 소재에 미디어를 기반으로 한 현대적 빛을 조명하여 과거와 현대를 관통하는 의미를 담고 있다. 또한, 빛을 통해 단순한 움직임을 넘어 동양화의 중요한 기준인 <기운생동>을 추구한다. 빛을 통해 되살아나는 원작의 정신(氣)을 현대적 언어로 변환하여 시대를 초월하는 공감과 담론을 전하고자 한다. 제도와 시스템에 갇혀있는 예술을 디지털의 빛으로 해방시켜 누구나, 모든 사람들이 평등하게 예술을 향유하는 문화민주주의를 추구하고자 한다.

My work has a meaning that penetrates the past and modern times by illuminating media-based modern light on the classical paintings that have lost light. In addition, classical paintings that move through light go beyond simple movements and pursue the important standard of oriental painting, <Lively spirit>. The spirit of the original work revived through light is converted into a modern language to convey timeless empathy and discourse. I pursue democracy and culture in which everyone enjoys art equally by liberating art stuck in institutions and systems into digital light.
